High School Memories
Class motto:
We have the memories of yesterday.
We hold the knowledge of today.
We reach for the opportunities of tomorrow.

Class songs:
Friends are Friends Forever (by Michael W. Smith)
Forever Young (by Rod Stewart)

Here's what some alumni remember most about high school:

Partying any place we could -- at construction sites, Sorrows hill, and my house (including the time a motorcycle was driven through our front door!).
~Jennifer (Zbytowski) Belveal

Spring Break on the cruise.
~Sona (Shoushanian) Manzo

The night football games. Although we didn't always win, we always had a good time.
~Deanne (Liparato) Holliday

The bandroom hockey league and napping in geometry class.
~Omar Kern

Homecoming and good times with friends.
~Dawn (Johnston) Goldberg

Mr. Wubbena saving me from a "swirly" at the last second on Freshman Friday.
~Sean Cahill

During the end of our Senior year, our Senior Class (a spirited, independent and fiesty group) planned and exercised a "walk out" in the middle of the school hours one day in demonstration over a controversial issue - we were trying to make an important student body statement! (I can't seem to remember what the issue / statement was though!?!?). Anyway, our Class President, Bill was told by the principal that as punishment for the walkout, our Senior Class had forfeited the priviledge of a celebration & pep rally prior to our Reflections Ceremony on the last day of school. Bill was also warned that if he or anyone else attempted to have one on our own (as if we would be so bold!), the participating indiviudals would forfeit their attendance to Prom. With heavy contemplation (NOT!), my best friend, Marisa Ferrari and I elected to have a "secret" celebration off campus any way. We told Bill to circulate the message to our class members. It was no surprise that almo st every member of our Senior Class showed up at my house in the early morning prior to the Reflections Ceremony to celebrate in our own way. It was neat to see all the different "cliques" of people unite together in celebration as one proud group. The only real surprise is that we never got caught, and we have a great memory to savor for years to come.
~Rosella Rossi

Hanging with my friends.
~Mary Ulinder

Several unforgettable senior trip memories like dancing in conga lines with 3rd degree sunburns, making a senior float with "inflatable companions." the Crash Parties at members of the 1990 class' houses, White Nights in Russia, beating up a bus in Prague, having beer confiscated from the dinner table, sleeping during the Odessa Opera, swimming with 1000's of jellyfish in the Black Sea and drinking the water in Leningrad. And last but not least, parking in the teachers' lot for two years without getting caught.
~Mike Embury

Ditching class.
~ Adam Smith

Graduating.
~ Vonda (Carter) Simon

Mr. Allison walking into the girls' bathroom to bust the smokers.
~ Janine (Parker) Chevalier

I only attended Farmington High for two years, but Marching Band Camp and the competitions are unforgettable moments from back then! I also remember Senior Prom and track meets.
~ Mariko (Usuba) Owen

Bandroom, hockey, Marching/Pep Band and playing on the baseball team.
~ Jeff Thomas

My final and last day.
~ Lisa (Wroblewski) Fischer

Cheering at the football and basketball games, school dances, being inseparable with Linda (and of course Cindy, Angie & Heidi), and our Senior Crazy Cruise! How easy life was then ...
~ Christina (Lee) Heilig

Electronics and Mr. Z's class
~James (Jay) Robert Lhamon, Jr.

Going to the BK lounge for lunch with Jane, Kari and Erin. Basketball games and the dances after. Almost being the state champs in soccer our senior year. Graduation and the all-night party!
~Amy (Westerkamp) Chestnut

When Neuhauser had all of his Chemistry classes set up distilleries and sampled each of our "experiments" in the name of "science." I mean, c'mon, who is he trying to kid? Not one moment in particular really stands out in high school. But I do remember everybody being nice, a little goofy, and pretty much laid-back.
~Julie (Bewernitz) Curristan

Graduating, all-night party and prom.
~Daniel Cortez

Clashing with Mrs. Tompkins in English class. Hanging out with my friends. Working out after school. The exciting feeling that the future was full of promise and opportunity.
~Roberto Devoto

My senior trip to Paris.
~Kelly D'Anna

Hanging out and laughing with pals and dreaming about bigger and better things.
~Erin Quinn

I spent a lot of time helping Dawn (Johnston) Goldberg with her books when she had a part in a cast. I enjoyed Friday night football games, and homecoming was a lot of fun.
~Deanne (Liparoto) Holliday

Dances on Friday after basketball, Mustang GTs, bus rides to ball games and varsity jackets.
~Scott Seabolt

I remember how tragic everything seemed. I should have listened to all those adults. I also remember all the fun!
~Heather McNichols

The carefree, fun time -- socializing with friends, being in activities and having fun.
~Christine (Gale) Booher

I remember "peer pressure." It's nice to be an adult and do what you want and not worry about what everyone's going to think -- very freeing! Besides that, it's always fun to remember Mrs. Kaufmann's class.
~Jennifer (Clingan) Albrecht

Cross country camp, Mrs. Aratari's math classes and Norm's parties.
~Maureen (O'Dell) Farrell

Our trip to the Soviet Union and Spring Break on the S.S. Costa Riviera!
~Paula (Gerard) Koster

I remember friends, parties and sports.
~Paul Brandt

Drafting class with all the guys, lunches with the group, dances, calc. class and, of course, practices!
~Julie (Lawton) Grimm

Mrs. Murtland's French class which was always a fun time, eating salt bagels and cream cheese every day at lunch for two years with Angie Forge, and Mrs. Siggia (marketing teacher) always threatening to "take points off" for talking.
~Julie Stockel

Being with friends 24 hours a day, football and basketball games, the adventures of Caroline and Jeff Sardy's onelongcontinualparty.
~Dawn Marie Vestevich

I remember matching socks and shirts.
~Louis Brugman

The fun, support and encouragement that I shared with my friends, struggling through math and being inspired by some amazing English teachers.
~Nicole (Sudheimer) Petrosky

I remember partying!
~Kirsten (Norman) Halsted

I never understood why people didn't like high school. I mean, where else could you go and see ALL your freinds EVERY day?!?! One of the memories I have is driver's training ... our car had Paul W., Scott S. and myself. Paul always drove "just right," Scott always drove "too slow," and I always was "too fast." I thought the circle 8 course by the tennis courts would be a little more challenging going in reverse, but the trainer was less than amused! We always teased Scott about needing phone books to see over the steering wheel and blocks for his feet to reach the pedals... his growth spurt came later! ;-)
~Chris Adams

Nonstop togetherness with friends, pep rallies, dances, party hopping, concerts at Pine Knob, trips to Windsor, "working" with everyone at Bonanza and our senior trip to Daytona Beach.
~Julie (Milhizer) Schrader

Forensics team competitions, going to the Detroit Institute of Arts with Mr. Barrett's Humanities class, going to Stratford with Mrs. Tompkins' English class and fondue parties in Mrs. Gearhart's French class. High school was fun, but if I had to do it all over I think I'd study a little less and live a little more.
~Amy (Rickenback) Smola

My most memorable moment was when I got my high school "letter" from choir; at the time that meant a lot to me.
~Jacob (Kevin) Miller

I remember thinking how much cheaper I thought our 10 year reunion would be!
~Heather Stewart
